Jasmine Hill is located on a peninsula hilltop near the village of Seatons in the east of Antigua. It is within a large mangrove lined bay surrounded by numerous inlets and lots of calm water . The house is 20 minutes by car from the Capitol city of St. Johns and 20 minutes from the V.C. Bird International Airport.
Being towards the east of the island as well as on top of an 80 foot hill means the property is exposed to cool tradewinds no matter what direction they come from. There is a rough footpath down the hill to mangrove lined Seatons Bay where you can swim or snorkel in calm water. The house is also within easy reach of Half Moon Bay, rated among the world's top 10 beaches by the Discovery Channel. Long Bay is just 4 miles away and is the nearest white sand beach which offers very good snorkeling and safe swimming for children. There is a small shop in the village of Seatons, where you can stock up on basic supplies, as well as fresh fish and seafood from the proprietor's fisherman brother, when available.
